Obsolescence is a heavy, genre-blending band that combines crushing riffs, dark melodies, and intense rhythms to create a sound that’s both aggressive and atmospheric. Their music explores themes of decay, transformation, and the struggle to keep up in a rapidly changing world, delivering songs that feel raw, emotional, and powerful. With a dynamic style that shifts between haunting calm and explosive energy, they capture the tension of modern existence while bringing a bold, unforgettable presence to everything they create.
Obsolescence has over 100,000 streams on Spotify across their catalog and have toured the majority of the United States east coast. They also have had the pleasure of opening for national acts such as Kaonashi, Resistor, 9 Dead, and Tallah. Their previous EP release Natural Violence was mixed and mastered by acclaimed producer Adam Cichocki.
